Payment with US bank cards in the Alexela app suspended

Due to a widespread wave of fraud, payments with US-issued bank cards have been temporarily suspended in the Alexela mobile application.

The suspension was implemented by LHV Bank, which has received multiple disputes concerning transactions carried out with US bank cards added to the Alexela app. Such disputes are initiated by the actual cardholder through their bank.

As these fraud cases are not limited to Alexela but represent a broader issue, the bank unfortunately had no other option than to temporarily suspend all transactions made with US-issued cards.
