You can find our charging points at many Alexela service stations, shopping centers, and other locations.

Electric car charging options at Alexela:

  1. Download the Alexela mobile application.
  2. If you don’t have an Alexela account yet, create a new account in the app.
  3. Add a bank card to the app. If desired, you can also add the Alexela Payment Card under the cards section.
  4. To start charging, follow the instructions displayed in the app.
  5. Charging begins after connecting the charging plug to your car.
  1. Tap your Alexela Payment Card or Gift Card on the charger's RFID reader.
  2. Select the charging plug.
  3. Charging will begin after connecting the charging plug to your car.
  4. To stop charging, tap the card on the RFID reader again.

The Alexela Gift Card can be purchased from all Alexela café-stores, and the cards are ready for immediate use. Read more about gift cards here.

  1. Open the charging webpage.
  2. Find the connector ID from the QR code on the charger or on the charger screen.
  3. Enter the connector ID number.
  4. Accept the terms and conditions and select a payment method.
  5. You can stop the charging session on the webpage.

Alexela uses dynamic pricing at public chargers. Depending on the charger’s location, time of day, occupancy, and electricity price, charging rates may be more favorable.
Charging rates apply to all customers who use the Alexela app, a payment card, or a gift card for charging.

Transition to cleaner fuel


Alexela has taken a strong role and goal to be a pioneer of cleaner future fuels in Estonia and to develop the electric charging infrastructure in accordance with the general direction of Europe. As the first chain of filling stations, we installed a 50 kW fast charger for electric cars in our station located at Peterburi tee 77, Tallinn already in 2019, and the first ultra-fast 160 kW charger in the Baltics for our Tikupoiss Station in Paiaristi in March 2020. As an energy company, Alexela continues to develop the charging network for electric cars by building new charging stations, both public and private, in various places in Estonia to offer customers a convenient and fast charging option.
Charging an electric car will turn out to be a much more affordable solution compared to the consumption of gasoline and diesel engine fuels. The cost for a 100 km journey with an electric car when charging at home is only 1.5-3 euros, depending on the exchange price of electricity, while 6-11 euros at a public charger, depending on the capacity of the charger, whereas the electricity consumption of an electric car is considered at 20kWh/100km.
