Charging with Alexela’s main app “Alexela”
- If you don't have an Alexela account yet, create a new account in the app
- Download the Alexela Laadija app
- Enter your bank card details in the app. You can also enter an Alexela Payment Card under cards if you wish
- Follow the instructions in the app to start charging
- Charging starts after connecting the charging nozzle to the car
- Enjoy driving!
Charging with an Alexela Payment Card or Gift Card
To apply for a new Payment Card, submit your application here. If you already have the Alexela Payment Card, contact Alexela customer service or your business service manager directly.
- Present your Alexela Payment Card or Gift Card to the RFID reader of the charger
- Choose your charging nozzle
- Charging starts after connecting the charging nozzle to the car
- You can order a payment card at Alexela's self-service
Alexela’s Gift Cards can be purchased at all Alexela’s convenience stores and they are ready for immediate use. Read more about gift cards here.
Charging tariffs apply to all customers using Alexela’s mobile app, Payment Card or Gift Card for charging. Depending on the location of the charger, charging rates may be lower.

The rates of the tariff package contract apply to all contractual clients who have signed up as clients of Alexela charging service and use the Charger mobile app or Alexela Payment Card. Depending on the location of charger, the charging rates may vary and be more favourable accordingly.
In the Charger app, you can choose whether to sign a tariff contract, a monthly package contract or both contracts.
*Customers who have purchased a home or business charger from Alexela receive a discount of 10 c/kWh in all DC chargers and 3 c/kWh in AC chargers. This discount does not apply to the fast chargers covered by the SmartEnCity project in the city of Tartu at the bus station on Soola street, at Aura Water Center on Turu street, in the Tartu Kaubamaja parking lot on Uueturu street and in the immediate vicinity of Raekoja square on Poe street. Transition to cleaner fuel
Alexela has taken a strong role and goal to be a pioneer of cleaner future fuels in Estonia and to develop the electric charging infrastructure in accordance with the general direction of Europe. As the first chain of filling stations, we installed a 50 kW fast charger for electric cars in our station located at Peterburi tee 77, Tallinn already in 2019, and the first ultra-fast 160 kW charger in the Baltics for our Tikupoiss Station in Paiaristi in March 2020. As an energy company, Alexela continues to develop the charging network for electric cars by building new charging stations, both public and private, in various places in Estonia to offer customers a convenient and fast charging option.
Charging an electric car will turn out to be a much more affordable solution compared to the consumption of gasoline and diesel engine fuels. The cost for a 100 km journey with an electric car when charging at home is only 1.5-3 euros, depending on the exchange price of electricity, while 6-11 euros at a public charger, depending on the capacity of the charger, whereas the electricity consumption of an electric car is considered at 20kWh/100km.
