The new direction of Alexela’s community program is the defense of Estonia
- Our community’s first milestone has been reached: we are protecting Estonia’s beautiful nature and have planted one tree for every Estonian — over 1.3 million trees!
- The next goal: defending every Estonian and the Estonian state.
- From now on, Alexela’s community program will contribute to the Reserve Fund through donations. This gives every Estonian the opportunity to directly support the defense of our homeland.

Defend Estonia – freedom and security start with you
- The core of Estonia’s national defense is our reserve army, made up of 100,000 members.
- The Reserve Fund supports the strengthening of our reserve force’s combat readiness and defensive capabilities. As a result, Estonia’s defenders can more rapidly apply the lessons learned from the war in Ukraine to protect our homeland.
- The fund’s first priority is the procurement of drones. Following that, the focus will be on testing and implementing other new technologies and on the training of reserve officers.

How does the community program work?
- The Reserve Fund is managed by the National Defence Promotion Foundation, and its resources are used to procure equipment for reservists based on proposals from the Ministry of Defence. These proposals are guided by the input and needs of the Estonian Defence Forces, the Defence League, the Defence Resources Agency, and the Centre for Defence Investments.
- In your local community, members of the Defence League are volunteering their time and effort to ensure that our homes are protected and safe.
Your support for the Reserve Fund helps them do this even more effectively.

The Reserve Fund is an additional opportunity for all Estonian individuals and businesses to make a voluntary contribution to national defense. Every euro donated supports our defense capability and our reservists.

The drones acquired through the Reserve Fund allow us to expand drone-related training and enhance the skills of both reservists and Defence League members.

Aivar Hanniotti

The use of drones in warfare is one of the fastest-developing areas, and the drone equipment acquired through the Reserve Fund enables Estonia’s drone units to keep pace with this evolution.
