Yes, you can still choose it. However, if you have already purchased a physical battery, we recommend combining an exchange-price electricity package or the Home Package with the Smart Electricity add-on service. If you have not purchased a battery but are a small producer, then the virtual battery package is also a good fit.

No, because you are already benefiting from your investment through your physical battery and the Smart Electricity service, meaning it wouldn’t make sense for you to additionally choose the virtual battery package.

It doesn’t matter what type of meter you have. The package monitors the 15-minute exchange prices in the background, and for example, with a single-battery virtual package you can consume up to 3 kWh per day at the 12 lowest 15-minute arithmetic average price, which the package calculates automatically.

It is applied first to the most expensive periods to provide the maximum benefit.

It doesn’t matter whether the price is negative or not — the virtual battery price is still calculated as the arithmetic average of the cheapest periods. This means that if there are negative-price hours, your benefit will simply be even greater.
