Who are stock price packages suitable for?
A stock price electricity package is suitable for you if you want and can manage your home electricity consumption according to changes in the stock price.
Stock prices change every hour. This means that with the package, you can benefit from cheaper stock price hours, but you must also be prepared for some hours with higher prices.
Alexela helps you conveniently monitor stock prices in the Alexela mobile app, and if desired, you can also subscribe to notifications for high prices, so you can adjust your consumption during those hours.
All our stock price packages are flexible and without a fixed term. You can switch to another package or terminate the contract at any time for free.
What kind of stock price packages does Alexela offer?
Alexela offers two different stock packages on the market:
- If you are a larger consumer and heat your home with electricity, air-to-water heat pump, or air heat pump, we recommend that you choose the Alexela home package with a joint invoice. With this package, we offer you a 0 margin and only a monthly fee of 4.99 euros (price includes VAT). The price period is valid for 12 months, and before the end of the price period, we will inform you of the new price for the next 12 months. Your monthly fee and margin will not change in the middle of the price period.
- If you are a smaller consumer, we recommend the stock price electricity package, which applies both a margin and a monthly fee. The monthly fee is lower than for the home package, but a margin is added for each consumed kWh. We always recommend choosing a package with a joint invoice for Elektrilevi network service, which makes billing easier for you, as two separate invoices are presented to you jointly on one invoice.
I am a private customer
We offer electricity packages with different pricing types for household consumers.
To use the Smart Electricity service, a stock price package must be selected. In a stock price package, you can benefit from cheaper price periods, but you must also be prepared for more expensive price periods. The package is suitable if you want and can shape your consumption according to the current stock price.
All electricity packages are subject to customer discounts from the Alexela customer program.
It is good and beneficial to be an Alexela customer, because all kinds of energy become cheaper for our customers:
- As an Alexela customer, you always have a fuel discount of at least -5 cents/liter
- In cafe-stores, you can enjoy -15% cheaper hot food, pastries, and hot drinks
- The entire food menu at Täkupoisi tippkoka restaurant is -15% cheaper
- You can accumulate Alexela money, which you can use to pay for all Alexela services, including paying your electricity bill
