FAQ

• Is the contract open-ended or fixed-term?  
  The contract is open-ended, but we will apply the price ceiling stated in the contract until 31.12.2023, while the package will continue under the same conditions next year, but without the price ceiling. For apartment associations, the price ceiling will be valid until 30.04.2026
   
• How does the rate change in the “Sressless” package?  
  The rate changes monthly. Alexela publishes the rate for the next month on its website by the 20th day of the month. The price consists of the base rate, margin and monthly fee. The rate in the “Stressless” package is always cheaper than the price of the universal service or equal to it. 
   
• Who can take the “Stressless” package?  
  All business customers who are qualified to receive the universal service can take the “Stressless” package for businesses. 
   
• Can a business customer who does not qualify for the universal service buy the “Stressless” product? 
  In this case, you can buy the electricity package with a variable fixed rate, the price of which is fixed every month but there is no price ceiling. 
   
• Can a business customer get joint bills with Elektrilevi with the “Stressless” package? 
  No, we do not offer joint bills to business customers (including apartment associations). Business customers receive two separate bills for electricity: an electricity bill from Alexela and a network service bill from the network operator. 
   
• How and how quickly can a customer of Alexela subscribe to the “Stressless” package?
  The package can be taken from 1st April through a business account manager or by filling out a request through self-service.
   
• If my company contract is with another electricity supplier, how can I join? 
  It is possible to change your electricity supplier with 14 days' notice, so you can sign a new electricity contract from the 15th day, after expressing your wish. You can terminate your universal service with another electricity supplier with 7 days' notice.  
  If you wish to conclude an electricity contract with us, please contact us using the form above or by contacting our business account manager directly so that you can discuss the best solution.  There are no additional costs for you to exit the universal service, but if you have a valid fixed-rate contract, terminating it with your previous electricity supplier may incur an early termination fee which varies by electricity supplier.
   
• Is it possible to take the “Stressless” package retroactively?  
  Retroactive package changes are not possible.
   
• Are there costs associated with exiting the contract?  
  There are no additional costs for changing and terminating the contract, so you can always change or terminate your contract without additional costs. 
   
• How much does a package switch to “Stressless” cost?   
  Changing the package is free. If you wish to change your package, you must contact your business account manager.  
   
• Is it possible for electricity producers to subscribe to the “Stressless” package?  
  Electricity producers can subscribe to the “Stressless” package for the purchase of electricity. The terms of electricity buyback are agreed separately; the standard terms and conditions for producers will apply.
