Optimus Hamina LNG terminalis

An LNG terminal has started operating in HaminaKotka, the largest port of Finland, in which the Estonian energy company Alexela has made the largest direct investment in history from Estonia to Finland. It is also the first LNG terminal in Finland that is connected to the national gas network. The first commercial LNG carrier received this weekend marks the start of business for the terminal.

Alexela laadija Ericssonis

According to the Estonian energy company Alexela, employers are increasingly installing electric car chargers in their company parking lots. One example of this is Ericsson, the world's leading manufacturer and developer of telecom technology. It installed 10 electric car chargers in the company's office and factory parking lots in Tallinn as part of its climate action.

The creation of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal will also encourage the transition to sustainable fuel in heavy transport. The LNG terminal would not only be an essential gas network independent of Russia's gas supplies to households and industries connected to the pipeline, but would also create a favourable opportunity for a shift to more environmentally friendly fuels in heavy transport.

Alexela bio LNG

The Estonian energy company Alexela is the first one in Estonia and in the Baltics to supply the domestic market with 100% carbon-neutral fuel or liquefied biomethane (LBM) - the fuel that is the most sustainable in road transport today, helping to reduce greenhouse gases of heavy-duty vehicles in the logistics chain.

Alexela laadijad Tikupoisis

Energy company Alexela is the first fuel seller in Estonia who has opened its own charging service for electric vehicles that includes the charging platform, mobile app and chargers. With this important step, Alexela supports the transmission to renewable energy transport solutions in Estonia. To introduce its new charging stations and mobile app, charging in Alexela Paia crossing and in Peterburi street station in Tallinn is free of charge until 31 October (included).

The Estonian energy company Alexela has been a pioneer in sustainable fuels for 10 years. Today, Alexela introduced its new full-service smart e-mobility solution, which is spearheading the long-awaited quality increase in Estonian electromobility.
